As part of Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) 96 cameras and speed cameras at 100 places will be installed to detect traffic violations. The traffic police are also in the process of procuring a new e-challan system which will facilitate payment of fines through an e-gateway which is expected to increase the number of challans byalmost 100% .
